Our Sailing Club

Columbus Sailing Club is dedicated to the sailing of catamarans and beachable sailboats.

Whether you sail a Hobie, Laser , G-Cat, Inter, Sunfish, Nacra, Prindle, Solcat, Supercat, Comet, or a Force 5,we love sailboats and the sailors who sail them.

Members can join without a sailboat and learn to sail.

Join as an Associate Member, learn to sail and bring your kayak.

Some of our members kayak, as Hoover Reservoir with its 10 horsepower limit, is the perfect lake to explore on a kayak.

Our club is located at the north end of Hoover reservoir, a large lake in Westerville, just minutes northeast of Columbus, Ohio. …More

Water Safety Classes

Boating Safety

A watercraft instruction camp is offered this summer by the Columbus Parks & Recreation. The course will teach basic sailing and canoeing skills at the O'Shaughnessy Reservoir. Children to teenagers will be taught basic nautical concepts and skills including canoe and boating safety, and capsize recovery. …More
